James Parkinson

Managing Director

I started within the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration industry in 1984 as an apprentice engineer.

I worked for the same company for 12 years working my way up to the position of Regional Sales Manager for the Manchester Office.

At the age of 30 I decided to start my own business and established Oasis Air Conditioning in 1996. After sustained and financial growth within the Manchester Office, the same business philosophy was utilised to open an office based in Birmingham to service the Midlands and the South and most recently we have established an office based in Leeds.

Personally I am married with 3 children. I spend most of my free time as “Dads taxi” but do try and find time to enjoy my hobbies which include sailing and hill walking in the Lake District where I grew up and most of my family live.

Mike Jones

Contracts Director

After leaving school I started in the Air Conditioning industry as an Apprentice Engineer. I progressed through the company structure gaining both experience and qualifications which justified my promotion to Senior Engineer then to Contracts Sales Manager.

After working for the same company for eighteen years I decided to further my career and joined Oasis as the Contracts Manager. I became the Contracts Director for the Manchester office in 2008.

Outside of work I like to enjoy physical activities and outdoor pursuits including mountain biking, skiing, scuba diving and walking. I have travelled all over the world and have recently completed a two week trek up the Himalayas in Nepal.
